The American Lego Man birthday cake

We thought we'd post this today... as it's only fitting (today is America's Memorial Day). ;p

Faye (Jane's uni friend) asked us to create a birthday cake for her fiancé who loves lego man, is American, and is very patriotic! We were ecstatic making this as we haven't done anything like it before. :D

So here's Mr Lego Man in the making (by Joy):

Mum's day cuppy cakes

Cuppy cakes we made for mums at church... our late mother's day pressie for them. {We were so busy leading up to mother's day, we weren't able to bake cuppies to give out on the day.}

Vanilla and apple-cinnamon cupcakes with white/dark chocolate ganache filling/frosting.

NOMmy apple-cinnamon birthday cake

NOMmy cake for a dear friend's son's 16th birthday.

This was a bit of an experiment for us... we've never done apple-cinnamon cake before. {But after we've baked, and tasted sample, we wondered why we haven't thought to include this in our cake flavours. It's so NOM!}

Cake layers: apple-cinnamon with a hint of vanilla

Filling: Vanilla buttercream

Frosting: Vanilla buttercream, white chocolate ganache on top. White chocolate collar, and dark chocolate ganache tips to finish the look.
