Bridal shower Rose Cake

March 2011: Rose cake we made for two beautiful sisters' (Hollie and Rebecca) joint bridal shower. They got married a week apart. (",)


This was our very first time making gumpaste roses. And, they looked like ROSES! Happy me! *pats herself on the back and says to herself, "Well done, you!" ;D


It's a butter cake with a hint of rose-water, filled with rose-vanilla buttercream, fondant-finished.

    This was the most amazing cake. Thank you for making Rebecca and my day the little bit more special. Everyone commented on how beautiful and yummy it was. I thought it was too beautiful to cut, but pleased I did as it was devine. You are awesome.
