February 2010: Our very good friend, travel buddy, and fellow foodie, Grace and her dad bought their first home in NZ. This was yet again another reason to bake a cake! Because we were tight on time, it had to be a quick but yummy one. ;p
Here's the sweet sweet cake for their home sweet home:
It's a strawberry yoghurt pound cake with french meringue buttercream frosting, fondant flowers, and a gumpaste mailbox painted with their new home's street number.
We always say that the most beautiful cake is one that has been devoured! So, no matter how we love to stare at all our creations, we like it better when it's actually all eaten up... just like this one!
