Here's what happens when a very sweet uncle & aunt ask us to make a cake, a month in advance, for their niece's 10th birthday. {Such a lucky girl!}

This was our very first time making sugar people! Isn't she cute??? Just like Salome, she also plays the ukalele! {Awww!}
We had such a ball putting this altogether. This is one of our most favourite cakes! {Okay, it's our favourite, full stop.} :D Thank you, Doug and Kirst for giving us something to challenge ourselves with.
So, when is life fun? When we get to do what we love to do and make other people happy at the same time. This was definitely one of those times!

It was simply amazing!!! I'll post some pictures of Salome's reaction when she saw her birthday cake. She just looooooved it!! Thank you girls for all the hard work you put into it. I could tell you really spent alot of time on it!! The result is simply beautiful! Thanks so much :)
